What is WELL Vale do Lobo?

WELL is a beachfront complex located in Vale do Lobo resort in the Algarve, in the Golden Triangle Area, near the Quinta do Lago resort, Vilamoura, and Almancil. We have a restaurant, Beach Club, beach concessions, and water sports facilities on the iconic Vale do Lobo praça.

What is the dress code for WELL Restaurant?

During the day you can come into WELL Restaurant in your swimwear and regular clothes, as we have a chilled ambiance during lunch service. From 18:00 onwards we start our dinner service and therefore we have a stricter dress code – you will not be allowed to come in in your swimwear, sportswear, or beach clothes as this is a more sophisticated atmosphere. Please note that you might be asked to remove your hat, cross-body bag, or sports top.

What are the opening times for the WELL Restaurant?

We are open all year round, our opening times are as follows: Winter months: 11:30 – 00:00; Summer months: 11:30 – 02:00.

Do I need to make a booking for the restaurant?

Accepted Answer

During the summer months, we would recommend making a reservation (especially for dinner service) due to the high demand and therefore guaranteeing your table.

How do I book a table at WELL Restaurant?

Accepted Answer

Lunch service: From June to September, we only accept lunch bookings at 12:00 and 12:15, it operates on a first come first serve basis after this. Do you only serve sushi?

No, in addition to our fine dining Omakase experience and regular sushi menu, we have an extensive menu with Mediterranean options and a snack menu during lunch.

Do you have entertainment at the WELL Restaurant or Beach Club Vale do Lobo?

Accepted Answer

Yes, Dining and Fun is a big part of our brand identity. During the summer months, WELL has a party atmosphere with during dinner shows all day long. We will have live music (DJ, saxophonist, percussionist, dancers or other) everyday, exact timings and artists to be confirmed for Summer 2024, please consult our social media for daily updates on this.

April | October: 9:00 - 18:00 (Weekends 19:00); May | June | September: 9:00 - 19:00; July | August : 9:00 - 20:00. *Information relating to 2024 summer season, this is a summer spot, and therefore exact opening details might vary.

The entrance fee grants access to our seafront Beach Club facilities and a towel. You can find the following services/amenities in this space: Regular sun loungers and umbrellas - which operate on a first come first serve basis and are subject to availability; Outdoor showers; Changing facilities; Designated food and beverage lunch area; Balinese Beds (extra service); Jacuzzis (extra service); Shisha (extra service); Thai Massage (extra service).

Can I book a bed at the Beach Club?

When I book a Balinese Bed do I still have to pay the entrance fee?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the entrance fee is paid by all clients to grant you access to the space. The Balinese beds and jacuzzi services are optional upgrades.

What are the opening times for the Beach Club food service?

Accepted Answer

The Beach Club will serve food from noon up until one hour before its closing time, to allow our clients to have lunch or a snack at whatever time they would, and as much comfort as possible.

Do you have lifeguards on duty?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the safety of our guests is crucial. We have certified lifeguards stationed at strategic points along the beach concessions and Beach Club during our operational hours. Please note that the pool at our WELL restaurant is not watched.

Are children allowed in the beach club?

Absolutely! Our beach club is family-friendly, and children are more than welcome to enjoy the facilities under the supervision of adults. We also have a designated pool area for the little ones.

Do I have to pay an entrance fee to have lunch/dinner at the Restaurant?

No, no fee is associated with using our facilities downstairs at our restaurant, only your normal consumption while you are here. Please note that during the summer months, we might have different meal sittings.

There are parking facilities available nearby, however, please note that this is paid during the summer months. Yes, you can use our online booking system, and payment will be completed upon arrival to the concession, by cash or credit/debit card.

Can I book the water sports services?

Accepted Answer

Currently, our 4 x jet skis at Vale do Lobo beach operate on a first come first serve basis. However, this function is available on our website and payment through our online booking system.

If I have a yacht can I come to your establishment?

Accepted Answer

Yes, if you have a boat/yacht you can dock it after 300 meters marked by the buoys and our team at the water sports facilities can transport your guests to land. At the exit we will take everyone back to the boat.
